Lake Charles is a beautiful town located in Lousiana.
The town runs along and around Lake Charles and the Contraband Bayou. The main
attractions of the area are the L’Auberge Casino Resort and Golden Nugget Lake
Charles Hotel & Casino. Other activities include the annual Mardi Gras
Parade and the many museums.
The Creole Nature Trail Adventure Point is also an
interesting activity center to help familiarize yourself with the area. They
offer help with navigating the area, learning about Creole culture, and
activities for children. The last thing they are known for is the North Beach.
It is a pristine white sand beach without having to go all the way to the
ocean.
