✅ Before You Unhook: Level Your RV

  • ☐ Choose the flattest site available

  • ☐ Place heavy-duty wheel chocks behind tires

  • ☐ Level side-to-side with leveling blocks (before unhooking!)

  • ☐ Disconnect from tow vehicle (after leveling)

  • ☐ Use stabilizer jacks for stability (NOT lifting)


✅ Outside RV Set-Up

Power Connection

  • ☐ Turn OFF breakers at pedestal

  • ☐ Plug in surge protector or autoformer

  • ☐ Plug RV power cord into surge protector

  • ☐ Turn breakers ON

Water Hook-Up

  • ☐ Attach water pressure regulator to spigot

  • ☐ Connect fresh water hose (and water filter if using)

  • ☐ Connect to RV city water inlet

LP/Propane

  • ☐ Open propane tank valves

  • ☐ Check that stove and fridge have propane flow

Sewer Hook-Up (Optional for Extended Stays)

  • ☐ Connect sewer hose to RV and dump station

  • ☐ Ensure black and gray tank valves are CLOSED (except when dumping)


✅ Inside RV Set-Up

  • ☐ Open entry steps

  • ☐ Extend slide-outs (ensure clearance first!)

  • ☐ Turn on A/C or heater if needed

  • ☐ Turn on refrigerator (select correct power source)

  • ☐ Open roof vents for airflow

  • ☐ Check water pump OFF if connected to city water

  • ☐ Fill hot water tank before turning on water heater
